I closed on my refi - the notary told me that I picked a good time to refi because the rates are going back up. Lucky! Hopefully, I can save up some fundage to fix a couple things around here and take a couple of vacays later in the year. Tooth fixed, thanks to my sister getting me into her office first thing this morning. Just a little sore from the shot and from when the dentist knocked my upper molars with one of his instruments while trying to test the strength of the composite he had just glued to my broken tooth. Ouch.

We saw Tin Tin this weekend and it was excellent! It was a movie I was COMPLETELY ambivalent about, but JP talked me into seeing it and I'm so glad he did! It was funny and touching and just a great adventure story. A real throwback. It's nice to see Speilberg still has the chops.

Saw Brokeback Mountain today. It is everything I expected it would be. Heath Ledger is heartbreaking. The story is just *guh*. The cinematography is achingly beautiful and lonely.
